Experience

1.     In depth understanding of project terminology and methodology

2.     2-5 years of Portfolio management, 10-15 years of experience managing programs

3.     Good Experience in Infra & network Project management.

4.     Ability to lead multi-function program team through influencing skills

5.     In depth Risk / Issue / Change Management knowledge

6.     Developing executive level PowerPoint presentations

7.     Ability to understand interdependencies and can connect the dots on how one program impacts another

8.     Evaluate complex situations accurately and identifies viable solutions that create successful outcomes for the customer.  Hosting meetings, taking meeting notes, and documenting action items

9.     Ability to organize complex and/or ambiguous information for sponsors

10.   Organizing program goals / objectives into portfolio with specific priorities / sequencing

11.   Work closely with the Program Executive Sponsor, Steering Committees and Portfolio Managers to facilitate decisions necessary for delivery and to overcome barriers

12.   Resolve political, resource, budgeting, change, and legal issues affecting the portfolio. 

13.   Serves as a mentor/advisor/decision-maker to program managers for the portfolio for issues related to corporate politics, external politics, client relations, governmental regulation, project quality, project risk, and safety. 

14.   Oversee development of proposals and requests for proposals associated with the portfolio 

15.   Experience with project management tools like MPP, Clarity

16.   Ensure tracking of deliverables for multiple initiatives within the program

17.   Perform kick offs & project overview sessions, lead workshops, requirements and alignment sessions with Sector, Plant, vendor, IT, Engineering and Business as required

18.   Assist/ Lead POCs, Pilot implementations & document the learnings

19.   Responsible for preparation of runbooks and testcases

Interactions

       i.         Global program with multiple Medium to Large Complex projects being managed will typically have:
 

a.      Individual team members from numerous cross functional teams and business sectors
 

b.     Multiple Service providers needed to deliver components of solution design
 

c.      Joint executive program sponsors which requires consensus and stakeholder expectation management
 

d.     Involve multiple technology area/towers within solution design (e.g., ERP with multiple ancillary systems, geographically broad infrastructure upgrade)
 

e.      Global business customers impacted by program delivery involving multiple sector geographies
 

     ii.         Oversee global program team activities by influencing cross functional team members without direct line of authority (daily)
 

    iii.         Effective communication with executive sponsor(s), Sr Director/VP, in customer organization (weekly)
 

    iv.         IT Services Suppliers coordination to deliver needed IT Services required for project delivery
 

     v.         Effective communication with executive sponsor(s), Sr Director/VP/SVP, in customer organization (weekly)
 

    vi.         Conduct portfolio review sessions with Sr Dir / VP (monthly)
 

   vii.         Partner with PepsiCo Portfolio Managers to ensure consistent messaging with IT Leadership (weekly)
 

viii.         Works with EPMO Portfolio Manager to align on key project artifacts and gains alignment on project governance
 

    ix.         Manage multiple reporting systems/requirements from Program, Business
 

Works with PQA to ensure project quality requirements are met
