6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to Data Analysis activities.
Hands on experience of working on projects implemented using Agile methodologies
Experience of interacting with Business stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into functional requirements that can be used by Development and Testing Teams
Experience of Property and Casualty Insurance domain would be desired
Experience of working on Customer Information management applications would be an advantage
Must possess good communication and analytical skills
Should have experience of working independently with minimal guidance from leads / managers
Responsibilities
Work on Project Implementations using Agile (Scrum) Methodologies involving Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Authoring User Stories, maintaining Product/Sprint Backlogs, Backlog grooming and Sprint Retrospectives.
Coordinate and work with various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop Requirement Documents, Design documents, Data mapping documents and Process/Data Flow diagrams
Work with Development and testing teams to hand-off requirements and ensure all business requirements are met
Work with tools and technologies used by Project teams such as MarkLogic, XML Schemas, XQuery, Agile Manager, Service Now and Quality Center
Responsible for Triaging Production Defects, analyzing and addressing/fixing Issues with the help of development team within SLAs defined
Providing alternate options / Workarounds to business for critical issues.
Track day to day work and Provide Weekly and Monthly Status reports to leadership team
