The candidate must lead and be responsible for the overall project management for all Agile implementations and projects of the entire corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
- Organize and lead project status and working meeting
- Creatively apply project management processes to address unique situations
- Creates comprehensive project plans
- Establish project roles and responsibilities and provides team members with clear direction.
- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables
- Help to implement an effective system of Agile project governance.
- Determines project governance and decision-making structure
- Assess project status and direct corrective measures to ensure project success including escalation and visibility to senior leadership when appropriate
- Negotiate across multiple functions to resolve project conflicts and competing priorities.
- Establish Reporting cadence as appropriate for team, stakeholder and executive reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years’ experience as an IT project manager in a large company; 3 + years of Agile Project management experience .
- Bachelor of Arts or Science required, degree in Information systems preferred
- Certified in Agile and Scrum required.
- Demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Greenhopper, Rally, VersionOne or equivalent. Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools.
- 3+ years’ experience leading and manage complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams.
- 3+ years of experience working with SDLC and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) for Lean software and systems engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in leading IT system implementation projects and experience utilizing SDLC for enterprise IT system implementations.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level.
- Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience with either a Big 4 Consulting firm or a more specialized boutique consulting firms specializing in technology delivery.
- Ability to work permanently in the U.S. on a full-time basis
