Assists with the administration and maintenance of Company and Project IT infrastructure, Telecommunication systems, Datacenter, Cloud services
Performs advanced peripheral & software installations and upgrades on Servers and Desktops e.g., processor, RAID controllers, centralized software installations etc.
Evaluates, tests, and installs security update using automated tools & applications.
Provides Tier 1-3 help desk support in a 100+ Server and user environment that consists of Windows 2012/2016/2019 servers and Windows 10 clients in a professional and timely manner.
Responds to help desk requests via phone and online help desk system and follow-through on all assigned tickets to meet/exceed client expectations.
Sets up user accounts, rights, security, systems and network groups with appropriate system and network privileges
Assists in the planning and implementation of systems recovery & disaster recovery
Participates in the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other infrastructure components
Troubleshoot advance hardware and software problems
Maintains production web sites
Setup and administration of fast Ethernet and gigabit switches
Helps develop plans for systems development and operations, hardware, and software purchases.
Helps in the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the client.
Follows information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
Manages Virtual Infrastructure Hosts and virtual servers based on Microsoft Hyper-V technologies
Regularly contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Apply expertise and possess knowledge of related disciplines
Conduct seminars and presentations on topics of interest to the Center for Information Technology Group
Create and maintain adequate setup and configuration related documentation for IT projects and operations
COMPETENCIES
System/network administration in a Windows server and client environment.
Virtualization Hyper-V etc.
Microsoft DPM
Working Knowledge of OSI and Microsoft protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, RAS, etc.).
Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Office365, and exposure to various COTS software products (i.e., Adobe, Visio, Oracle, SQL, etc.)
AWS and Azure cloud operations.
