Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

 · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience

· Five (5) or more years of related oracle technology based development experience which must include Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, EDI and Relational Databases.

Special Requirements:

Proficient with PC operating systems and system tools skills (e.g. UNIX-HP, Linux, Windows platform,  VMWare)

Demonstrated experience with configuration management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Serena Version Manager or PVCS

Knowledgeable of job scheduling tools such as  Application Manager/AppWorx

Experience using computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tools & methods and/or design tools is preferred

Experience with Workflow, XML, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Cognos and Unix Scripting preferred

Experience in the mortgage insurance industry is preferred

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

 Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL,  JavaScript, ASP, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, XML

Skill using RDBMS systems such as Oracle & SQL Server

Knowledge of project management and time management principles

Skill using configuration management (e.g., DevOps, Serena Version Manager, PVCS) and job scheduling (e.g., Application Manager/AppWorx) tools

Ability to create software specifications

Ability to work with business users, members of other application development teams, using various technologies and tools

Ability to work professionally with vendors & external customers

Ability to execute effective planning and organization techniques

Excellent problem solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to learn new tools quickly

Ability to provide technical on-call 24x7 production support on a rotating basis
