Contract-to-hire opportunity for a client in Chicago or Atlanta with a Senior UX Designer opportunity. 2 roles are open.   Can be 100% Remote.


We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to design web and mobile healthcare experiences. To succeed in this role, you should be an analytical and creative thinker with a strong background in design thinking.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the UI & UXR strategies for an expanding team, across several projects
• Support and mentor other designers
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Lead the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences
• Advocate for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings
• Develop high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date on competitor products and industry trends
• Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle
• Help shape user stories by applying your knowledge of user behavior and psychology
• Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer and Researcher
2. Strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
3. Experience designing and shipping products for mobile and desktop
4. Expertise in interaction design and information architecture
5. Fluent in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
6. Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
7. Proficient in Figma
8. Analytical mind
9. Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
10. Experience in an Agile/scrum environment
11. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  
Nice-To-Haves
1. Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or other coding languages
2. Service design experience
3. Experience with SAFe agile
4. Bachelor’s in design, computer science, psychology, engineering or a related field
