Oracle:

- Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software in on prim UNIX/Linux and Azure Cloud environments.

- Setting up database user/application accounts.

- Creating autonomous database backups/recovery using RMAN

- Regularly updating the database security protocols.

- set up and administer standby databases

- OEM configuration and monitor databases via OEM

- Identify and tune the problematic and slow queries.

- Create and maintain multi-tenant/Container databases.

- Able to write complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages.

PostgreSql:

- Installing and upgrading PostgreSql in Linux/UNIX/Azure cloud environments

- Setting up databases/schemas/user accounts

- Setting up standby databases and setting up replication

- setting up backup and recovery procedures/policies

Primary / Mandatory skills: oracle:

- 6+ years of work experience as senior Oracle DBA

- Proven work experience as a Database administrator.

- Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.

- Knowledge of programming languages and API.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- experience in upgrading Oracle 11g/12C databases to 19C

- Well versed in setting up and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate uni/multi directional replication

- Able to manage/administer large multi node RAC databases
