Overall 8 - 12 Years of experience in Windows Administration and minimum 2-3 years in Azure public cloud

1.    Understand the Scope of work applicable for new customer environment
2.    Responsible for Transitioning of cloud hosted customer environment.
3.    Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
4.    Ensure to meet infra resources availability as per agreed SLA.
5.    Advanced level troubleshooting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Active Directory (AD) related issues – DNS zone issues; Sites/Subnets review; Verify if AD issue is within scope identified by IT Risk team.
6.    Advanced level troubleshooting / Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for   Microsoft (MS) Clustering issues – Verify issue is not due to non-Cluster aware software installations; troubleshoot heartbeat, quorum, cluster services, cluster resource issues. Engage, and work with, MS when needed.
7.    Trouble hooting of Hardware – Take over for L2 team for out of warranty servers where site involvement is needed to engage OEM or 3rd party hardware support team. Own/manage/track to repair.
8.    Advanced server support – Own server issues outside of, or unresolvable by, L2 team skill sets
9.    Client support – Provide recommendations for configuration or other improvements to the environment
 

Mandatory Skills :-
•    Hands on experience in setting up Windows 2016 & 2019.
•    Advance knowledge on Active directory
•    Experience in setting up Group Policies for various server patterns (Application, Web & SQL Servers) to the harden server.
•    Experience is setting up Microsoft clusters & IIS Web servers, SQL Database servers.
•    Design and build experience.
•    Depth knowledge on VMWARE System Provisioning process & Microsoft HYPERV experience,
•    Knowledge on storage disk configurations on Microsoft servers.
•    Knowledge on Software deployment using SCCM.
•    OS build automation experience & PowerShell scripting for day to day tasks preferred.
•    Hands on experience of managing Azure cloud on Infra as a code (IAC) mode using Azure blueprints, ARM templates third party tools like Terraform & Ansible for resource provisioning & configuration management.
•    Work experience on Azure native tools like Azure monitor, Azure Policy, Azure Update, Azure security center, Azure cost management etc.
