Must have:

Experience testing web applications and APIs

Experience building test automation framework for APIs/web

US-based, or live in the EST to PST time zones and be able to join

 our Scrum team standups.

 Worked in a fast paced environment, where he/she is usually the only

 QA engineer on board.

 Nice to have:

  Experience with other testing tools like Jasmine, Karma, Jest etc.

Responsibilities:

    1.        Develop test scripts to validate UI/UX functionality and APIs.

    Assume ownership of Selenium scripts written by the current team and

    improve/expand on the scripts.

    2.        Work closely with product and engineers to understand the product

    and ensure all functionality are tested through automation. Be able to

    attend standups with Scrum teams.

    3.        Investigate failures in these automate test scripts. Continually

    update and maintain regression tests.

    4.        Run manual smoke tests and/or blackbox tests, as needed, typically

    per sprint and per release.

    5.        Triage bugs found in testing, establish bug severity, and

    communicate with the team (team = product and engineering)
