Growing Texas organization with office in Plano is looking to hire a Sr. Developer that has solid Python experience. Also would like experience with Elastic Search and Postgres and have deployed on Cloud platform.
This organization provides online access to an industry-leading collection of courthouse records, mineral and appraisal data across 4 states.
This position will play a key role in this expansion.
This is a senior level developer role, interacting with all levels of the product planning, development, deployment, and maintenance, including:
- Planning and development with management and product team
- Front end design and development
- Service and data architecture planning and deployment
- APIs
- Server and service management
- Identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technical debt

Requirements
- Experience creating and maintaining servers and network infrastructure in Cloud environment Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- 5+ years Python web development experience

- 5+ years of database Postgressql (development and administration)

- Experience with Elastic Search

- Experience doing front end website design with either React or Angular or other tool.

- Advanced HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS required

- Solid experience with open source platforms and Linux system administration

- Plus is experience with Django for building and deploying eCommerce applications
