*This is a large, and long-term contract, Fully Remote. We need an individual that is an Oracle Database Administrator who has worked on IBM's Power 9 (HPC).
- Five (5) years or more of Oracle database experience including database maintenance, administration, security, and standby database management.
- Database Administration experience to include data analysis, technical analysis, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with IBM Power 9 (HPC)
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS.
- Experience with SQL*Plus.
- Experience with Oracle OEM (Enterprise Manager).
- Experience with Linux shell scripting.
- In-depth Oracle configuration and database performance tuning knowledge.
- Oracle Enterprise Manager skills.
- Tuning skills.
- Ability to analyze and debug existing SQL code and application issues is expected.
- Ability to maintain, patch, secure, monitor and tune Oracle databases in Linux environments.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be detail oriented.
