JOB DETAIL

• The technical project manager is responsible for clearly defining and quantifying each step, as well as establishing concrete deadlines for each project milestone and deliverable.

• Demonstrated experience with infrastructure project management including consolidation, migration, and refresh projects.

• Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.

• Drive assigned projects and take ownership for their success - in terms of project delivery, quality, and business outcomes

• Works with IT and business teams that partner with release infrastructure to testing, installation, training, and support

• Collaborate closely with our DevOps and IT teams in setting up and managing integration environments for various systems and components.

• Analyze and resolve production issues working independently or with the support of the development team.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion Description

• Experience working with high availability 24*7 environments and incident management.

• Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity.

• Lead complex, high visibility project initiatives, toward achieving critical IT-enabled business objectives.

• Develop in-depth understanding of business and technology goals to plan and execute effective integration strategy

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across functions, lines of business, and infrastructure domains (Systems Engineering, Release Operations & Platform team)

• Strong organizational skills and deep understanding of Project Management concepts for planning, monitoring, and reporting

• Effective analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assist

• Experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum)

• Create collaborative environment among business teams, internal IT teams, and vendors

• Hold vendors and strategic partners accountable for delivering the scope, timeline, and business benefits as promised in statements of work

• Understand and anticipate the priorities of the business through building productive working relationships with engineering colleagues

• Develop high level of IT organizational agility; understand enterprise solutions and pursue effective relationships with the M&A teams that support and enhance these solutions

• Manage key stakeholders; communicate critical project information, and actionable insights, to the right stakeholders at the right time

• Implement course correction measures at initial signs of trouble to ensure healthy scope, schedule, budget, and business value

• Coordinate with business liaisons and organizational change management resources to ensure end-user impacts are properly communicated and adopted

• Build relationships with IT Operations teams to coordinate on smooth transition into production

Desired Experience and Knowledge:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in Engineering, computer science, information systems, business administration or related field strongly preferred. In lieu of college degree, 

  an equivalent amount of relevant work experience will be considered.

• 5 years Project/program management experience.

• At least 3 to 5 -years’ experience acting in the lead delivery role on highly complex and large projects or programs which are central to enterprise strategy

• Experienced in standard (waterfall) delivery methodology

• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and SharePoint

• Proficiency in Cloud Hyper Scaler Technologies

• Generalist knowledge in infrastructure technologies i.e. Hardware Types, Hypervisor, Networking, Storage, etc.

• Client facing skills

• Excellent at presentation and persuasion; knows how to adjust message for the audience

• High aptitude for explaining complex concepts to executive and business audiences.
