Java development experience and a deep understanding of OO design patterns
• Experience working with an API Gateway Platform such as, Kong, Amazon API
• Proven expertise in application development using Java
• Experience in full software development lifecycle and end-to-end testing
• Proficient with web services & service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience with java open source frameworks including Spring/Spring Boot and Apache Commons.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with Jira
• Experience in a test driven development methodology and tools
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high demand, and challenging environment
• Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic requiring minimal direction
• Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities and requirements
