UI/UX Designer would collaborate with other designers, researchers, technologists, and business stakeholders to craft meaningful experiences for customers through thoughtful design. The ideal candidate will have interaction and visual design skills, an understanding of user-centered design, and a passion for designing digital products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with team members to craft world-class user experiences for web, mobile applications and wearable devices.
- Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to solve problems effectively
- Craft interaction and interface designs, advocating usability and user-centered design principles
- Create, design deliverables to communicate work including sketches, logic and flow, prototypes, wireframes, mockups, animations, UI assets, and specifications
- Measure and analyze user experience research and testing to validate designs, get user feedback, and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Work with product owners and technologists to execute user interface designs as a flawless part of the overall user experience, advocating aesthetics and visual design principles
Required Technical Experience
- 3+ years of experience creating user interfaces, digital products, or complex software applications across a range of channels
- Formal degree or training in HCI, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design or related
- Strong portfolio with work samples showcasing expertise in user experience design, creativity, and depth of thought
- Open to feedback, knows how give and receive criticism, and how and when to defend design decisions
- Experience incorporating research into the design process
- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in common design tools like Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, invision and so on…
- Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to identify and apply technology to achieve design goals
- Prototyping experience (software and/or hardware development experience a plus)
