- Expert experience in T-SQL and administering SQL Server (2008R2 – Current)
- Expert experience scripting in PowerShell to automate SQL administration functions
- Expert experience performing datastore deployments and debugging code related issues
- Strong IP Network troubleshooting skills (SSL, CertAuth, and firewall related issues)
- Strong understanding of SQL database monitoring and performance tuning
- Strong Written and Oral communication skills
- Experience reading and writing one or more markup languages (XML, HTML, XHTML)
- Experience running highly available, online services, or other web based applications
- Experience with deployment automation software
- Experience with Azure hosted systems
- Ability to be a team player in a sometimes highly stressful environment
- Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Desired Qualification:
- MCSA, MCSE or MCSD Microsoft Certifications
- 6 - 8 years of industry experience preferred
- Previous Microsoft experience (i.e. familiar with internal tools such as MSAsset, ICM, or VSO)
- Working knowledge of C# or similar language
- Experience communicating with a leadership level audience
- Microsoft Webstore experience is a big PLUS!

This position will be doing mostly day to day database operations work (incident, change, problem management), while developing SQL procedures and PowerShell scripts as necessary to automate common SQL tasks.

- Troubleshoot customer and monitor generated incident tickets
- Deploy builds to Dev/Test/Production/DR environments
