Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration related defects.
Perform preliminary trouble shooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution
Documentation of defects utilizing HP ALM
Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead
Qualifications:
Required: 5-6 years of experience in the testing domain
Hands On experience in Order Management modules(Order Flows, Fraud, Payment, returns/exchange, promo/coupons)
Hands on Experience with Manhattan Associates Distribution Order Management (DOM) Software/relevant
Knowledge on Stores transactions will be added advantage.
Creates or reviews test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements.
Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment
Executes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing.
Clearly documents defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner.
Partners with functional and technical partners in their domain.
Experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
Delivery experience on projects in Agile methodology.
Retail domain experience preferred
Functional Testing experience and conversant with ETL processes and tools
Strong SQL knowledge, Experience in retail Domain is a must.
Strong interpersonal skills, proactive participation in Team environment
Effective documentation and communication skills
Demonstrates analytical skills to assist in solving problems and making decisions. Applies a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to assist in making key decisions supported by facts.
