JOB DETAIL

 

Mid-level .NET developer for building and supporting applications written primarily using Microsoft technologies - C#, T-SQL and SSRS. The candidate’s primary responsibility would be to design, develop and support internal applications for trade/position management and ledger systems. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and quality product with a test-driven approach is essential. Experience with fixed income/mortgage data/loans would be a plus.

 

 

Responsibilities

§  Work with New Residential (NRZ) back-office teams to understand their security, trade, position and cash tracking needs, recon reports, and end-of-day straight-through processes

§  Work with internal and external IT partners to ensure data feeds are accurate and delivered in a timely manner

§  Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to support a wide array of application types

§  Ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications

§  Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

§  Provision and support of highly available systems in the production, QA, and development environments

§  Work closely with the accounting, operations, and treasury teams to develop and support tools for data downloads, analysis, and reporting

 

Skills & Requirements

§  Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical background

§  6-8 years of experience with .NET framework and middle-tier development

§  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

§  Proficient in middle tier programming principles in C#, .NET

§  Familiarity with SQL Server, T-SQL programming preferred, SSRS and SSIS

§  Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, TFS

§  Strong verbal and written communication skills

§  The ability to work within small teams

§  Fixed income and/or residential mortgage market knowledge a plus

§  Prior experience working with SS&C CAMRA and LDC Solvas a huge plus
