The right person as part of a team will be responsible for bringing together a data ecosystem (essentially building a large SQL database using SQL Teradata. The ETL developer will be responsible for doing the development that will connect all their data assets so they can build more analytics around customer experience (customer satisfaction data). The ETL Developer will be developing in SQL ETL/ SQL Teradata to actually connect each data asset so they can build the customer analytics.

This includes data from their CRMs (such as salesforce, etc.), data from surveys as it relates to the customer experience/ satisfaction AND they are also building a Data system that transcribes customer service calls into text. The right candidate will ideally convert to an FTE within 6 months as the Data Development work that is needed is long-term/ never ending.

My client used to have a Data Consulting Company who was doing the work for them but they have decided to build the team internally.

This person will be the subject matter expert for our data, this person will be our subject matter expert for managing our data and how we connect from Point A to Point B (connecting Teradata to Tableau for example).

This role is 80% ETL development vs. 20% maintenance of their databases/ systems
