"This content strategy position is best suited to an individual with experience leading the content process for large-scale digital projects (across desktop and mobile).

The successful candidate will be competent at creating and maintaining complex editorial documentation, covering a large number of use cases and content scenarios.

Experience writing for financial services is required and experience writing specifically for retail financial products is preferred (such as IRA, managed accounts and brokerage accounts).

Our working style is highly collaborative and iterative.
 This individual will provide content strategy leadership for an important product category, across multiple experiences. 
Comfort with agile practices is a plus.

 Write new and edit existing copy for digital user experiences.

Lead on content strategy and run the content creation and review process on behalf of the project team.
Create consistent, on-brand messaging that clearly articulates the benefits of TIAA products and services.
Participate in the entire content cycle. This includes content strategy analysis, writing directional copy that helps inform conceptual design work, and finalizing copy with SMEs and other project leaders.
Financial services writing expertise with ability to create and manage complex copy documentation
Experience developing and adhering to digital brand standards and style guide for tone, voice and consistent copy presentation.
Ability to set up a process and timeline for content review and leading the team to secure key approvals.
4 to 7 years of experience leading content work for large-scale digital experiences
Experience documenting content, leading legal and compliance reviews, and managing feedback from various stakeholders.

 Experience managing the editorial process and working with project managers to accommodate editorial milestones.Experience writing about financial services and products – retail products (such as IRA, Brokerage, Managed Accounts) preferred.

Experience writing content for mobile applications.

Understanding of SEO and accessibility best practices.

 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, related field or equivalent work experience.
Online portfolio of digital writing samples and content strategy documentation examples.

Demonstrated experience with IT project methods such as Waterfall SDLC and Agile.
Exude a positive attitude—respond to feedback with skill and professionalism."
