The .NET Developer will support the software by providing hands-on development support to our software development scrum teams. As our company is an early start up with a focused go-to-market strategy and timeline, every role, including that of the .NET Developer, is critical to the success of the product and the company. The importance of hitting the ground running, staying hyper-focused, and building in an agile manner is very important because the technology areas that our company is relevant to are vast and moving into each area at the right time is paramount. The .NET Developer will work closely with the rest of the team, helping build not only a great product, but a great team.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software using MS Visual Studio for
- C#.NET
- Troubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and
- compatibility issues
- Support software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts using
- NUnit, SpecFlow, and other automation tools
- Interact with required stakeholders including business analysts, and testers
- Support continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology
- tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical execution
- Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
Primary Responsibilities:
- 5+ years software development experience using C# and .NET
- 3+ years with Angular
- Experience with Azure MySql
- Adept with public cloud IaaS & PaaS services like compute, database, messaging, object
- storage.
- Familiarity with writing unit tests and their role in a Continuous Integration environment
- Experience with configuring VMs
Ideal candidates will posess:
- Knowledge of Vulmap, CIS CAT (or similar vulnerability and configuration scanning
tools)
- Working knowledge of WinForms, WPF, WCF, Entity Framework, VB.NET, C++, XML, LINQ, SQL Database platform, MS Build PowerShell
- Understanding of engineering modeling languages, such as ER diagrams, UML Sequence
diagrams or other engineering artifacts
- Agile/scrum development experience
- Experience writing and reviewing automated test scripts
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as nUnit, SpecFlow
