Job Responsibilities
- Actively engage in monitoring, reviewing and developing preventive measures to combat fraudulent activity.
- Involve in data-centric initiatives across multiple database platforms.
- Work with cross-functional teams on developing rule-based solutions.
- Work on developing actionable insights through the analysis and modeling of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Work on DevOps tools to automate and improve monitoring process for proactive remediation.
- Work on developing enterprise application components, to standardize and extract KPI metrics, trends and alerts on demand.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to application teams with fraud remediation and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- The ideal candidate would have enterprise support background with Java and Oracle/Hadoop based applications.
- 6 years of experience in SDLC implementation/support of a multi-tiered web application, using Java/J2ee components.
- Strong experience with database monitoring and SQL queries/procedures that span across multiple platforms – Oracle and Hadoop.
- Experience working with large structured and unstructured data sets
- Knowledge of data manipulation and statistical analysis (R/Python/Apache Spark) and ability to code (Java/Scala) smaller components.
- Understanding of Hadoop, Hive/MapReduce, AI/ML technologies, predictive and prescriptive modeling is a plus.
- Experience implementing micro-services and/or Cloud-native applications to support data analytic algorithms
- Experience in using DevOps tools like Jenkins to automate scanning and reporting process
- Proficiency in using and navigating in UNIX.
- Strong ability to write new and modify existing shell scripts.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with attention to detail.
