Perform common database operations including installation, backup, restore, recovery, schema changes
Ensure performance, availability of databases
Configure database replication
Communicate/collaborate with team members on database related issue
Proficiency in MySQL and Oracle database management
Understanding of MySQL and Oracle storage engine,
Experience with MySQL replication configuration
Experience with Oracle replication configuration
Proficiency in using Oracle Goldengate software.
Familiarity with MySQL and Oracle stored procedure, stored function, triggers
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of MySQL databases. Other responsibilities include backups, and creation of database instances, configure/maintenance of MySQL database replication. Furthermore, the candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of Oracle database. The position requires Oracle administrative activities including table space, user account creation/management, performance analysis/resolution. The candidate should possess analytical and troubleshooting skills
