The Data Modeler/Architect will be responsible for creating and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models and will be creating one or more data models depending on use cases including transactional, integration, data warehouse and analytical systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into data models conceptual, logical, and physical to support big data platform solutions
Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models
Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality, reduce redundancy and optimize performance
Designs logical enterprise wide data models
Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models
Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments
Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness
Analyze data related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions
Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
Provides support for master data management logical data quality system development implementation and maintenance
Makes recommendations for process improvements in order to support data integrity efforts
Optimize update and maintain logical and physical data models’ source to target mappings to support new and existing projects
Strong communications skills verbal and written and the ability to effectively communicate design recommendations to a varied audience
Build positive team dynamics by understanding usability and design principles

Job Requirements:
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Data modeling and Data mapping skills
Extensive experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams and data modeling tool SAP PowerDesigner
Hands-on experience SQL
Experience performing data discovery analysis and profiling
Experience creating source to target mappings for both batch and real time data
Ability to work in team in diverse multiple stakeholder environment
Strong consulting and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions
