JOB DETAIL

SFDC BA fill an important role in the overall process as they will be working to support customer product focused individuals as well as Salesforce technical and solution focused engineers (among others).

 

Typical activities and tasks include:

 Decompose features into user stories, coordinating creation of dependencies with other teams as advised by Product Managers - Works with Product Managers to decompose features into user stories that meet the DoR - Understands the overall product vision and helps to communicate that to othersRuns backlog grooming sessions and strives to have 2/4 sprints worth of groomed stories DoR (Definition of Ready) - Assists with identification, creation, and tracking of internal/external dependenciesProvides input to track lead, scrum master and quality for defect handling - Works with Product Managers to ensure stories are assigned to correct epics/features and collaborates on release management Collaborates with STE (solution train engineers) on features and functions needed within the backlog to ensure shared understanding Can consume design documents (wires, miro, envisions) as input to product backlog user story creation

 

Required skillsets:

- Hands on knowledge of MS product- Office, Excel, PowerPoint, LucidChart or Visio

- working knowledge of Salesforce UI (applicable cloud)Minimum of 3-5 years of post- collegiate business experience

 

Skillset:

Excellent business analysis skills to document and understand content from a variety of inputs. Examples might be looking at wireframe designs to create overall process flows that support the generation of a user story backlog, Reviewing technical design documentation to determine breakdowns for integration mapping and technical user storiesListening to and helping to clarify security and compliance considerations, so appropriate documentation can be created. Familiarity with general business processes like sales activities, customer service support, marketing approaches, and technical data flows. Background in agile methodologies including creation of NFRs, acceptance criteria, user story writing, etc. Bonus if scaled agile used in past engagements. Hands on with agile tools (jira, asana, confluence, x-ray or zephyr for QA testing requirement identification.
