The Database Developer is responsible for supporting and coordinating all database activities, managing, and securing the SQL instances and databases and help develop queries, scripts, and functions to aid in the further development of the company. This position will also support joining, back-up, maintenance, restore documentation, optimization, testing, tuning and administration of the company’s SQL Server Database applications and maintaining a focus on availability and performance of all databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create complex queries, functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
• Able to import and extract files in .csv or xlsx formats to and from databases.
• Set up replications from one database to another
• Draft design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects
• Design, develop and implement database systems based on requirements
• Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized access
• Optimize database systems for performance efficiency
• Identify issues related to database performance and provide solutions
• Perform data back- up and archival on regular basis
• Test databases and perform bug fixes
• Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion Required Skill Sets
