SKILLS:

·         Must have Investment Banking Industry experience with OTC Derivatives / Fixed Income

The manager needs someone who is Strong with SQL, comes from Asset Mgmt background, OTC derivatives and can take on day-to-day in Production support for their team. Culture and willingness to learn and adjust quickly is extremely important. Regulatory experience is a huge. This position can be completely remote (just have to work EST).

The Business Analyst is a member of the Regulatory team whose focus is supporting current and future system needs for internal customers (Legal and Compliance departments). The analyst will also be a key resource for any project-based needs for the team.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Elicit, understand, and document the customer's business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows.
• Recommend appropriate solutions and create the functional specifications that meet those requirements
• Serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions
• Perform QA testing of developed deliverables and assist with User Acceptance Testing
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and develop ad hoc queries
• Analyze current and future regulations to determine best application to Eaton Vance data
• Review current regulatory solutions for completeness and accuracy
• Manage and work on multiple projects
• Manage the prioritization, logging and tracking of user related issues, defects, enhancements and work requests
• Evaluate potential vendor solutions
• Work closely with internal developers building regulatory framework
• Recommending and institute business analysis best practices, tools and methodology towards standardization of BA deliverables and procedures
• Guide and mentor junior business analysts
• Collaborate with the team to uphold and improve Agile processes
• Partner effectively with all levels of the organization and be responsible for direct interaction with clients and vendors

Job Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in finance, technology discipline or equivalent experience
• 5+ years business analysis and/or system development experience
• 5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably buy-side
• Experience with Equity and Fixed Income instruments & derivatives
• Experience with compliance systems or regulatory reporting systems is a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Capable of managing multiple tasks with tight time deadlines
• Strong problem solving and practical decision making skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Maintain a strong commitment to quality
• Strong SQL skills are a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
