The projects assignment for this PM will be:

1.         PeopleSoft Upgrade – This project is critical to collecting and distributing funds for the state of Ohio.

2.         Data Capture – New Scanner

 

Responsibilities include: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, Controlling and

Closing the projects that are assigned.

 

This position will be responsibilities for:

•           Managing Information Technology Projects

•           Utilize Vendor Management Skills to ensure the Vendor is delivering quality on time

•           Utilize Change Management Skills to ensure any change to the contract is documented, agreed to and signed off

•           Leads high-level planning sessions with the project team

•           Coordinates projects, consisting of varying sizes

•           Consistently mitigates project risks and optimizes resources and program effectiveness

•           Demonstrates and trains others on Agile best practices

•           Deliver commitments consistently and aligned with targeted project outcomes

•           Establish relationships within project teams and with cross-functional teams

•           Report blockers and impediments to project forward progress to Leadership

 

Mandatory Requirements

•           8 plus years of experience managing information technology projects

•           8 years of experience managing projects with cost greater than $1 million.

•           8 years of experience managing a team larger that 10 people including 3rd party vendors

•           Experience with utilizing multiple methodologies

•           Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic work environment

•           Ability to understand technical issues at a high level

•           Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

•           Strong goal setting and task prioritization and execution abilities

•           Strong leadership and teamwork skills

 

Preferred

•           Project manager certification, Agile certification

•           4+ years utilizing project management tools including MS Project and Workfront
