Role Description:
UI/UX Developer will have ownership and accountability to design, develop, test, and implement software for our website redesign. Consultant to support our Information Technology department and collaborate with external party partners, agency, IT Managers, Analysts, and our Marketing teams.
Responsibilities include utilization of front-end frameworks, as well as helping define standards, best practices and processes also taking a consultative approach as a knowledge expert and a resource for the team to learn from. Activity ownership will start from receipt of requirements including UI/UX wireframes, architectural design, development, coordination of events, tracking issues / risks, milestones, meeting facilitation, testing coordination including integration testing internally and with external partners, and release management.
Consultant will create wireframes and HTML, implement front-end framework, and work collaboratively with back-end developers to integrate the UI components with back-end API. Functions include:
- Software design, development, and the implementation of Ul/UX software projects.
- Working with our IT Leads to discuss, document, and test the functional process flows and improvements as they relate to our website Redesign and related applications.
- Gathering requirements using our IT standard methodologies.
- Ensuring quality by coordinating functional and user acceptance tests in a timely fashion.
- Working to bridge the gap of current and future state needs for the organization.
Experience: Minimum 7 years’experience.
Required Technical Skills:
- Requires 7 years of extensive VUE.JS and Java Script experience (Required)
- Extensive experience, 7 years developing web, social and other digital platforms (VUE.JS, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, AJAX/JSTL) (Required)
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, or others (Required)
- Experience with Responsive design and/or Mobile design (Required)
- Ability to analyze, design, code, inspect, debug, and test the user interface (Required)
- Experience prototyping/wireframe rich interactions quickly with the focus on user experience (Required)
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash (Recommended)
- Experience in Java, AJAX, XML, HTTP, Web Services (REST/SOAP) (Required)
- Experience evaluating tools/frameworks to be implemented through UI interface (Nice to have)
- Working knowledge of Spring framework (Nice to have)
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other CMS platforms (Nice to have)
