Responsibilities & Duties 

·       Work directly with clients to discover project scope and gather requirements 

·       Create use cases to identify user roles and user objectives 

·       Analyze data and content to architect website sitemaps and application screenflows 

·       Conceptualize the layout of intuitive user interfaces in the form of wireframe mockups 

·       Optimize the usability of existing interfaces by assessing the existing layout of data and proposing updated layouts and functionality 

·       Work directly with an off-site/ on-site development team to ensure proposed functionality is feasible and adheres to the client's budget 

·       Present and justify proposed mockup solutions internally and to clients 

·       Document functional requirements of proposed interface solutions 

·       Ability to run design workshops and document outcomes 

·       Ability to present the team's work and articulate design 

·       Calculate design efforts and provide estimations/people loading maps 

·       Create proposals to provide strategies for design intervention in transformation stories 

·       Maintain familiarity with the capabilities of various programming technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.) and their impact on development efforts, user interface possibilities, data accessibility, and compatibility across multiple versions of the same platform (web browsers, mobile OS, etc.) 

Qualifications & Required Skills 

·       Required - Minimum 5 years of industry experience working within interactive design mediums including websites and mobile applications 

·       Required - BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

·       Required - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills 

·       Required - Must present a portfolio of industry examples illustrating step-by-step solutions to project requirements 

·       Required - Must be a resourceful self-starting individual capable of creating workflows conforming to the needs of the position 

·       Previous experience with Web/Interface Design is a huge plus 

  Experience  

·       Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Human Factors, User interaction, Graphic Design, Product Design or other related design field  

·       5+ years experience in UX design and a proven track record
