Senior Enterprise Data Application Architect
NYC, NY(Hybrid Work i.e. 3 days onsite 2 days WFH)
Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable service APIs to facilitate enterprise data access governed with proper security controls
- Design and implement entitlement framework integrating firm’s authentication service and implement RBAC that aligns with firm’s governance policies
- Develop front-end application to manage data sources and subscriptions
- Develop data synchronization pipelines to enable flows to AWS cloud based warehousing.
- Develop new and re-architect existing pipelines for inbound/outbound partner/vendor data consumption.
- Collaborate with LAM development teams to architect AWS based Lazard Data Warehouse.
- Develop monitoring and validation services for data processing pipelines.
- Develop and enable continuous delivery with CI/CD pipeline
- Be part of an empowered team following agile methodologies.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data storage technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and service-oriented design.
- Well-versed with full-stack development (Python/Java, NodeJs, Angular/Dash).
- Experience with web application security, authentication/authorization protocols.
- Work effectively both as a contributing team member and independently.
- Perform code reviews and mentor skilled developers by guiding and challenging best practice implementation.
- Creative problem solving with the ability to present multiple solutions and potential side effects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 8+ years development experience. Fast paced programming mentality with quick solution turnaround.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in developing backend micro-service components with Python, Java
- Experience with development of event-driven applications/processing systems
- Proficient in developing frontend UI with Dash, Angular, React
- Experience with API design and RESTful services.
- Fully skilled in SQL with experience on major RDBMS (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Expertise with ETL and batch processing
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of Snaplogic processing pipelines.
- Experience with NoSQL databases/In-memory data grids.
- Amazon AWS or equivalent cloud architecture development experience.
- Experience with Jira, CI/CD, full-stack development and agile frameworks.
