As an Software Engineer in the team, you will be responsible for a suite of tools that enable automation and work flow for our business and by extension our customers.  You’ll help other teams with faster delivery of reliable, performant, and scalable software products. In addition to bringing your own software development expertise, you’ll be working with colleagues at all levels and helping us design and deliver next-generation platforms for successful projects. You’ll be working with stakeholders  to understand their requirements, and helping design and build new and improved systems to ensure service security –  understanding emerging API security standards and thinking about how to secure our services today and into the future.

Required Skills and Experience

Expertise in Front End Development:

• User interface design and development
• TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular (8+), RxJS, HTML 5, CSS/SCSS and related technologies
• Integrating Web APIs, protocols and data exchange formats: REST, JSON; SOAP, XML
• Automated unit and regression testing: Jasmine, Karma, Protractor

Strong Experience in / working knowledge of Middle Tier and Data Layer Technologies:

• API design and Web services development (.Net Core 3.1, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Database: MS SQL

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Syndicated Loans/CLO or other Credit or Structured products (Credit Bonds/CDS/ABS/MBS etc)

2. C#, SQL, Angular or React

3. Azure

4. Experience working with Front Office at sell or buy side etc.

5. Knowledge of LoanIQ or Solvas or ABS Suite

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of an Associate degree and 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience
• Worked on multiple projects involving complex systems analysis, design and complete application development
• Must be familiar with industry direction
• An ability to build out products & products enhancements from idea through to launch
• Skills to collaborate with the entire team and customers on feature requirements and prioritization
• A team player mindset with an ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
