Job Description
Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, REST-Assured, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman etc.
Automation covering end2end functionalities, cross-browser testing (using BrowserStack), and API-automation (involving REST services)
Integrating automation suites with CI/CD Jenkins pipelines to drive continuous testing.
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing with a minimum of 5+ years of software test-automation experience, for web applications, windows-based applications (i.e., Mainframe, Java, .Net based), API testing for REST services.
- Good Experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, REST-Assured, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman etc.
- Good Experience with test automation frameworks like POM and Cucumber (BDD).
- Experience in devising End-to-End Test Automation Strategy covering different systems i.e., Web Automation, and data validations through DB2,
- Standardizing existing test-automation scripts and automaton framework to support data driven, robust and independent execution.
- Demonstrate QA-Consulting & Solution Architecting capabilities around QA Processes, Test-Management, Test-Strategy and Test-Automation covering end2end functionalities, cross-browser testing (using BrowserStack), and API-automation (involving REST services, MQs, stub-testing/service-virtualization) in the diverse distributed & integrated test-environments.
- Provide consultancy and support to various automation projects for technical related queries & facilitate training and best practices to the team.
- Scope management, Team management, dependencies, risk and bottlenecks identification and deliverables/milestones tracking.
- Consulting and implementation of right-fit test automation approach.
- Integrating automation suites with CI/CD Jenkins pipelines to drive continuous testing.
- Relationship building and client facing, stakeholder engagement and coordination, including vendors and senior management.
- Advise the customer on innovative testing tools and solutions.
- Define and leverage standard testing methodologies, processes, and tools across the engagement.
- Define/build reusable testing assets (i.e., End-to-End Test-Strategy & Plan, setting up Quality Gates, QA Dashboard etc.) for the project.
- Exhibiting good technical leadership and mentoring team to achieve overall project goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting data to cross-functional teams and/or management.
