The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is seeking the expertise of a Business Analyst resource to support a project to identify and centralize data sources and business processes associated with ground water resources in the State of Michigan. This individual will be key in the discovery of related systems, elicitation of related business needs and development of requirements to support the identification of a solution strategy, procurement, and implementation. Candidate will help guide the approach to identifying business needs, be familiar with and represent applicable constraints and enablers, be responsible for overseeing the complete and accurate elicitation and documentation of requirements, support the solicitation activities to procure and implement a solution, and serve as a liaison between the business, implementation team and DTMB. Candidate needs to excel at analyzing business needs across diverse program areas, visualizing data relationships, and translating business and technical directions between stakeholders. The ability to quickly learn new business operations and be proactively thinking of ways to work towards the big picture is a must. Candidate needs to be organized and be able to proactively manage expectations with changing priorities. Proven successful communication is a necessity, along with delivering high quality work and services while selfdirected.
At the discretion of the resource manager, this position may include remote work, but candidate should plan to be available to report to a Lansing, MI job location in accordance with State of Michigan return to office guidelines.
