JOB SUMMARY:
Infrastructure Lead is responsible to work on OS related issues and debug the issues, maintains the Server logs and manages the disk space.
Responsible to manage Backup & restoration of Server Data.
Has got very good skills in managingAct ive Directory, Sites, replications, group policies etc.
He Manages high availability and Clustered environments. Responsible in deploying Physical & Virtual Servers.
Escalation point for Infrastructure Engineers.
Job Responsibilities:
Good knowledge on multiple backup platforms
Configuration of new clients for Normal backups for clients
Should have worked on Backup monitoring reporting tools
Participate in Restores, software upgrades, agent upgradeand patching activities etc.
Should und erstand and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge base articles documentation.
Should have knowledge on de-duplication and replication concepts SPECIALIZATION With more and more IT infrastructures switching to the cloud and looking fo r massively scalable cloud adoption methods, migration from an Oracle database to AWS RDS for PostgreSQL is gaining popularity. End users are moving towardsdatabase systems which offer focused services. We at Mindtree collaborate for the implementati on, configuration, maintenance, and performance of the database servers to ensure availability and consistent performance of our applications..
Roles:
Plan and install upgrades of database management system software to enhance database performance.
Identify, evaluate and recommend hardware or software technologies to achieve desired database performance.
Demonstrate database technical functionality, such as performance, security and reliability.
Create and enforce database development standards.
Implement best practices to ensure system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
Develop and document database architectures
