Experience with SQL 2016 and higher and Windows Operating Systems required, familiarity with VMware preferred
Experience in troubleshooting and recovering application databases
Extensive knowledge of database recovery, database administration (including security) and database optimization and tuning required
Experience with the Installation, configuration, and administration of database software within the Microsoft SQL server stack including SSRS, SSAS and SSIS
Experience with Monitoring and optimizing database performance
Experience creating and/or tuning complex queries
Experience with reviewing and assessing the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in troubleshooting and recovering application databases
Monitor tickets and requisitions and ensure work is performed on time and accurately
Responsible for database recovery methodologies and implementation
Administer database security to meet Federated Hermes standards
Monitor and optimize database performance
Create and/or tune complex queries
Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation
Provide technical expertise in the design and development of complex SQL queries
May provide technical leadership for other database administrators
Participate in the on-call/after hour support rotation for Federated Hermes SQL Database Platforms
