JOB DETAIL

  • Expert: Skills equiv. to 11+ years in comparable position. Responsible for applications development in an enterprise architecture environment within .net framework using C#. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
  • Must have a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, have experience working on distributed platforms (Windows preferred or UNIX) and have experience in a .NET framework enterprise architecture environment.
  • Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology, Agile or other iterative development methodologies is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.

This role calls for strong software application design and development skills, along with a desire to work closely with Technology and Business Teams.   • What you will do As a Senior Software Developer, the role will require someone who can do the following: Assist with design and development of software application systems mainly revolving around payment distributions from 401k retirement plans Participate on an agile team of developers, testers, product owners and scrum masters. Participate in discussions and engage other team members to gather system requirements where minimal information is provided. From time to time, perform manual testing and investigate ways to automate these tests Release applications to production environments on a regularly basis. Provide production application support for applications that require 99% uptime.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a good balance of strong technical skills along with excellent communication and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
