·         Partner with leadership, software engineers, program managers and data scientists to understand data needs.

·         Act as a subject matter expert in a specific domain or class of data engineering challenges, leading by example and mentoring others.

·         Influence short- and long-term strategy with cross-functional teams to drive impact.

·         Design, build, and launch extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to transform data across a number of platforms.

·         Provide statistical data analysis to create insights from data.

·         Develop reports and dashboards to effectively communicate the message of the data to team members, stakeholders, and partners.

·         Work with data scientists to create and refine features from the underlying data and build pipelines to train and deploy models.

·         5+ years of SQL experience.

·         5+ years experience in engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink etc.) on large scale datasets.

·         5+ years experience with Schema Design and Data Modeling.

·         5+ years of experience with workflow management engines (i.e. Airflow, Google Cloud Composer, AWS Step Functions, or Azure Data Factory).

·         Experience understanding requirements, analyzing data, discovering opportunities, addressing gaps and communicating them to multiple individuals and stakeholders.
