Develop, and maintain tools and pipelines to simplify the life-cycle of our in-house and cloud-based services across multiple environments from build to production
Integrate and support monitoring applications to provide insight into application state, health, uptime, and logging
Assist the team with builds & deployments, deploy/configure new environments as well as support developer environments
Perform routine security testing and monitoring against internally produced engineering platform
Mandatory Skills
Experience with deployment, security, and monitoring with Azure, Azure DevOps and other cloud environments
Experience with micro service architectures and deployment models
Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Terraform, Vagrant, Kubernetes
Understanding of open source server software such as RabbitMQ, Envoy, Consul
CI/CD support such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Packer
Experience working with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers/API Gateways/Firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms)
Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management
Strong communication skills with staff at all levels and ability to work collaboratively
