Responsibilities In details:

• Responsible for the technical architecture and ongoing enhancements, development and modernization 
• Hands-on application solution design and build 
• Hold initial and ongoing design reviews sessions with development teams and stakeholders to demonstrate end-to-end solution architecture 
• Help resolve applications issues and work closely with onshore and offshore development teams 
• Partnering with various technology team and product owners to demonstrate the product features
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Help facilitate user acceptance testing with developers and stakeholders
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and onshore / offshore development team
• Utilized Kanban methodologies to track & manage project deliverables
• Utilize Lucid charts to build conceptual, logical diagrams and swim-lane business processes
• Build wireframes; create data models and data flow diagrams
• Provide production support as needed

Key Technical Skill:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as Data Engineer on Data/analytics projects preferred 
• Strong SQL / PLSQL skills, have successful track record in large Oracle project database development 
• Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with Technical and Business Stakeholders
• Working with large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
• Working with Data Engineering project or database focused project design, development, support and deployment 
• Working with ETL/ELT/API based Integration patterns for Data Services
• Applying SDLC, Agile methodologies and Jira Kanban Boards for task management.

Desired Skills:

• Hands on Cloud Databases and development experience (On-prem to Snowflake migration a BIG PLUS)
• Orchestration tools such as AirFlow, database engineering tools such as dbt 
• DevOps, CI/CD, Test Automation in Data Services area
• Working with Source Code Version Control tools (Git Preferred)
• Recent work experience within Financial Services industry
