Build and administer databases, lakes, warehouses and pipelines using SQL server, Hadoop, Python, Airflow, and Kafka
Work closely with product owners, data scientists, designers and QA engineers in a joint effort to build state-of-the-art Software products including AI/ML
Own the quality of data and engineering solutions

Essential Requirements

Strong industry experience or equivalent skill, must include experience building ETL pipelines and excellent at problem solving
Proficiency with SQL and Transact-SQL
Working experience with Python and NoSQL DBs
Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS and building ETL pipelines
Strong skills in DB administration, indexing and performance tuning

Desirable Requirements

Undergrad or Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field
Familiarity with Hadoop, Sqoop jobs, Airflow and Python
