2-5 years relevant experience (or someone making career switch or wanting to do data analysis)
Strong experience with SQL and BI (data mart, report development….). Ability to pick up Synapse, Python based data analysis skills.
Depending on role --- subject matter expertise --- claims data, clinical data, HR data, population health, market intelligence (Note: we are mostly looking for generalist skill set)
Ability to switch and adopt to different data sets and learn them quickly
Strong analytical skills to quickly stitch up data sets, run EDA (exploratory data analysis), descriptive cuts on data, basic charts
Investigative mindset, be able to see through missing links in the data, and QA
Be able to work independently and engage with subject matter experts, business leaders, ask right questions
Strong communication skills, succinct in their interpretation of the data, produce quick insights
