We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineering leader to build our suite of cutting-edge SaaS products.
In this role, you will closely work with CTO, a team of highly talented software engineers and Product Managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. You would be a go-getter and do not wait for instructions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the engineering leader and technical expert who can architect and design high performance and scalable products
- Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members
- Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by
- Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
- Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff
- Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects
- Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
- Hire the best engineers, train them when required, and keep them motivated
- Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
- Communicate and collaborate with other managers and senior management team
- Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally
- Solve engineering problems, debug complex issues, automate development pipeline, roll-up sleeves to write and review code, set up Dev-Ops processes, liaison with third party service providers to ensure our system is highly secured and compliant with regulatory requirements.
