9+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or related field

* Experience with relational SQL and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Spark

* Experience in building automated data pipelines for cleaning, preparing, and optimizing data for ingestion and consumption

* Experience in building AWS Lambda functions triggered from AWS services like S3, SQS etc.

* Experience in development of Glue jobs, development end points, Jupiter or Sagemaker

* Experience in using local development frameworks like SAM or Serverless is a plus

* Knowledge of IaC concepts, experience with Cloud Formation or Terraform

* Understanding CICD best practices and experience with Github, Jenkins or CodePipeline

* Ability to identify and solve issues concerning data management and data quality

* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data solutions

* Experience working with Data warehousing tools, including MYSQL Aurora DB, Hbase, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Graph Databases, would be a plus

* Experience in building cloud, scalable, real-time, and high-performance data solutions

* Experience with agile development and test-driven development

* Familiar with principles of solution architecture and technical design

* Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)
