Focus: A very good QA Engineer with the API experience –MUST be able to speak to their API testing experience (both automated and manual). Must have exceptional communication skills. 

Responsibilities

•             Expertise in Designing, Developing & Maintaining API Automation Frameworks with technologies like RESTAssured™ , TestNG using Java, Postman & SOAPUI

•             API-level Performance Testing using tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling, etc...

•             Experience testing Backend and Web Services in a Cloud Architecture

•             Ability to execute database queries against SQL and NoSQL DBs

•             Design and develop Tools for reporting results using Third Party API Tools

•             The ideal candidate will work with developers, product managers, QA team members, and operations team members to ensure deliverables are timely and meet expectations

•             This role requires the ability to facilitate and manage automation processes including code quality and making overarching technical decisions.

•             Work on product/project teams developing test plans, test cases and automation scripts

•             Operate in an agile software delivery methodology focused on testing new features within an iteration

•             Perform exploratory testing where necessary in addition to automation

•             Contribute to and help maintain the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security) on multiple platforms (web, iOS/Android, emerging platforms)

•             Effectively communicate complex and/or difficult information to both technical and non-technical audiences

•             Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting many products on varied release cycles

•             Strong knowledge of software quality practices and ability to learn & adopt emerging concepts

•             Strong software development and technical architecture skills

•             Strong object oriented programming background and a passion for scalability, reliability and reusable code

•             Experience with version control systems (svn, git, stash)

•             Experience with test tools (Selenium, Webdriver, Junit, TestNG, Appium, Android UiAutomator, iOS UiAutomation)

•             Proficient with continuous development tools and build tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)

•             Experience with Agile testing methodologies

•             Self-starter who can work independently
