Solution Architecture & Engineering is a department within ITS Global that provides innovative solutions that client’s business functions and member firms use to deliver client-facing services. ITS Global (Information Technology Services Global) is one of four pillars within client’s Global Technology & Knowledge group. ITS Global also provides the information protection and technology infrastructure that secures client’s technology environment and connects its network of member firms.

Responsible for the technical deployment of client business applications as directed by the Senior Director of Audit Architecture. To effect the successful technical design and deployment of business applications in accordance to client IT Standards and Global practices.

 Key Accountabilities / % of time:

10%: Act as a trusted advisor to business; ensures the efficiency of cloud requests and manage customer driven, cloud projects; create Cloud documentation of technical implementation plans; represent Cloud Operations to all stakeholders

50%: Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security. Facilitate the architectural artifacts required to build corresponding consensus with the business and IT organizations involved

10%: Mediate and coordinate all activities of the security assessment review process

10%: Provide high level cost and resource estimates for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as Service (SaaS) offerings

10%: Adopt a wholistic approach that considers operational and support concerns, with a strong preference towards designing for reliability via available tools and approaches (e.g., automation, monitoring)

10%: Review and audit code authored by the team to ensure compliance with best practices, project specific rules, OSS and Export Control Governance.

Skills:   

• Experience in a global team matrix environment

• Experience with architecting enterprise solutions supporting large/small data

• Capable of forward thinking and of moving strategic plans into action

• Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, developing team members and being a role model

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, yet be able to manage discussions with the business

• International experience with the ability to work in a diverse work environment across cultures and time-zones and host/attend international calls outside of standard working hours

• Minimum of 10 years of recent and relevant experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as Service (SaaS) across Microsoft Azure cloud and the Microsoft technology stack in general, IT Security, software development, and infrastructure deployment methodologies and industry best practices

• Experience with scalable architectures using server and serverless technologies

Software/Methodologies: C#, .NET, Angular, ReactJS, Power Platform(PowerApps, Power Automate), AGW, APIM, Logic Apps, CI/CD Azure DevOps, Public or Private Cloud, MS Azure, Data AI, Synapse, Advance Data Analytics, Data Bricks, Kubernetes (AKS), ACI, Automation, Natural Language Processing, Azure Storage, Microservices, Reporting Services/SSRS, JavaScript, HTML, PowerShell, T-SQL, MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB

• Maintain updated knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging data technologies especially as it pertains to Microsoft Azure

• Ideally with prior experience working at Big 4, Investment Banking or Audit

• Knowledge of application, database, system, and network design

• Confidence in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm

• Proficient communication skills with non-technical audiences"   

 Education:         

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience required
