The process of migrating its enterprise data analysis and reporting platform to Microsoft’s Power BI and Synapse environment, hosted in Azure. We are looking for candidates that can support these platforms. This will be an initial 6-month engagement with a potential for direct hire (preferred) or extension. The candidates will supplement an existing project team, performing additional work to create custom data extracts, Power BI apps and reports, and new data architecture in Synapse.

Fully remote for any candidate living in, or moving to, any location in the state of Arizona. Some extremely limited travel to be expected for meetings, trainings and conferences. There is no relocation assistance available due to the contract nature of the position.

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with the following Microsoft tools in an enterprise environment:

Microsoft SQL Server

• Azure
• Power BI
• Synapse
• Stored Procedures
• SQL Agent Jobs
• SQL Alerting
• SSRS
• SSIS
• SQL permissions
• High learning agility
• Query performance tuning and insight

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Azure DevOps
• RedGate tools
• Enterprise retail context
• Change and Incident Management systems and/or processes
• Strong analysis and documentation skills
