Our client is a Fortune 500 leader in the communications industry. Their Data Integration Team team is building media technology and IT systems that meet the world class standard for which they are known.

The Role

The Lead Developer role is responsible for hands-on work with SQL, Data Lake work (cloud-based), Python, Snowflake as well as Data modeling. You'll also provide mentorship/leadership to more junior members of the team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

● Work closely with Enterprise and business owners to identify needs for additional data or improvements in their Data Lake environment.

● Provide technical guidance on industry tools and best practices in the data realm.

● Monitor and maintain products built by the team and used by senior stakeholders.

● Provide technical leadership on project work as well as to team members.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or 8+ years of previous technical experience.

● Deep understanding of SQL

● Experience with Data modeling and cloud-based data work.

● Ability to learn new technologies and skills based on team/environment needs

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

● Ability to work onsite with a hybrid model in one of the listed work locations (Denver, Charlotte, St. Louis).

Nice to have, but not required:

● Experience with Python

● Experience with Snowflake

● Experience with Airflow
