Description:

We are hiring for a Lead Java Developer who is going to help build out some new API solutions. These various APIs will connect existing backend and frontend system to one another. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for code reviews, mentoring, designing, solutioning, and troubleshooting. As well, you will work to understand the current Design Patterns and build them into these new APIs. We need someone familiar with CI/CD, Automation TDD, Unit Testing, collaboration, and microservices. The architecture will find these running within GCP and follow a Kubernetes (GKE)/containers plan.

Qualifications and Technologies Required:

-Strong people skills

-Ability to quickly adapt

-Assist with results and communication

-Java development and microservices experience

-Follow Agile methodologies with two week sprints and daily stand up meetings

-Write APIs from scratch

-Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

-Utilize cloud technologies (GCP - open to AWS and Azure too)

-Follow design patterns

-Conduct code reviews

-Mentor junior recruiters

-Communicate with technical and non technical stakeholders
