Basic Purpose:
The Scrum Master directs and manages the full agile life cycle of Robotic Process Automation software products in a fast-transformational healthcare company. This position requires a servant leader to facilitate one to four scrum teams (small to medium in size) in the gathering of Product Backlog items (E.g., User Stories) from the product backlog fostering the establishment of team velocity, development, deploying, and monitoring the application in production across a wide variety of software systems and components supporting healthcare information technology. Responsible for removing any impediments to help the delivery teams meet their sprint goal and forecast. Works closely with the Product Manager and Architecture teams to make sure the product/component development meets the business partner needs, fit into our overall product line, and is a reliable and professional application.

Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Director of the Digital WorkForce and will be expected to learn both the business and the company’s product as well as be responsible for the following duties across one or more Scrum teams.

• Industry Publications- Must be familiar with recent industry publications such as Scrum Guide, The Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams, etc.,

Support the Agile Product Development Process:
• Organize and facilitate at Sprint events- Planning, Daily Scrum/ Standup, Review, Retrospectives
• Organize and facilitate supplementary Scrum related meetings- such as refinement, release planning as needed
• Track, reflect and communicate team metrics such as- velocity and sprint release progress
• Nice to have- Familiarity with Kanban metrics
• Rigidly maintain Quality System Records and other quality system documentation
• Manage Release Patch activities that require high alert response, monitoring and special release cycles.
• Ensure the development teams are practicing core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, learn accountability and visibility
• Participate and provide feedback to improve key aspects of Kanban/Scrum processes
Support the Product Owner:
• Assist as needed with backlog maintenance
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and propagating information
• Assist with prioritization and resolution of defect and bugs
Support the Incremental Product Delivery [Dev Team]:
• Assist team with making appropriate forecasts through Product Backlog item (E.g., User Story) selection and task definition
• Assist in the troubleshooting production issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure timely and accurate resolutions
• Assist in the define plans for standardizing, scaling, and enhancing our products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those products
• Providing development estimates to the new features and enhancements
• Understanding the business needs for the product/component(s)
• Facilitates communication between roles for every aspect of the project
• Reflects and monitors team capacity and velocity
• Facilitates Sprint Planning and estimation
• Drives and works with a cross-functional team including Project Management, Development Engineering, QA, Support, User Interface Designs and Product Managers
• Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards tools and better practices
• Identify and help remove impediments and protecting the team from distractions
• Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
• Maintain meetings to time-based allocation
• Empower teams to self-organize

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in and/or equivalent experience.
• Scrum Master Certification from a credible institute(E.g., CSM or PSM I)
• Advanced certifications are a plus (E.g., CSP, SM or PSM II. PSM III)
• Kanban Certification is a plus (E.g., PSK)
• Familiarity with the SAFe methodology in scaling is a plus

Work Experience:
•At least 4+ Years
• Proficient in Rally
• Experience in Robotic Process Automation (UiPath RPA Developer Foundation trained preferred)
• Ability to manage diverse constituencies and act as a semi-permeable person between the needs of the business and the needs of the agile teams
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate both technical and business issues.
• Proven ability to build motivated, adaptive, collaborative and productive product teams.
• Promotes strategic alignment and is methodical, detail oriented, efficient, organized, highly productive, a true self-starter.
• A commitment to mentoring, coaching and evangelizing Agile across the organization.
• Excellent organizational, statistical, analytical, problem solving, written and oral presentation skills
• Must be resourceful, self-motivated and able to be succesfull in non-traditional fun entrepreneurial team-based environment.
