JOB DETAIL

 

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Non-Production Operations team, you’ll have the

opportunity to:

  • Lead the technical vision and operations of a Non-Production Environment
  • Ensure the availability of a non-prod environment for critical business flows.
  • Adhere to strategies, policies, and standards defined by TMO architecture, security team.
  • Define & implement the best coding & application security practices to the team and partners.
  • Develops user interface (UI) & backend applications using tools/technologies like Angular JS/Java/ Spring Boot, Mongo DB, NodeJS, Strapi, MySQL, Kubernetes, Nginx, Docker & other Microsoft applications improving Azure services to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives. Leads moderately sophisticated projects.
  • Represent in Project PI discussion and provide inputs on behalf of TMO test architecture domain.
  • Lead the collaboration of Incident, Change, and Problem Management programs within Operations.
  • Collaborate with teams (Domain, Test, Engineering) to build release plan followed by the successful execution.
  • Provides on-call and after-hours support as required for critical production releases and to respond and provide active resolution support on non-production outages.

 

The Experience You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ Application Development and Operations experience.
  • Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Concepts (Azure, Docker, Serverless, etc.) Splunk, Rest (Swagger)
  • Strong experience with Incident Triaging and debugging. .
  • Expertise in DevOps and ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
  • Hands-on experience in customizing design and implementation of Operations tools including Jira SW, Jira SD.
  • Experience in designing a strategy for Non-Prod Infrastructure management (Environment Planning) and Production Release management
  • Skilled in leading PI Planning discussion, Business Reviews (Product Owner, Scrum Master experience will help)
  • Highly Skilled in planning End to End Testing for Complex Systems and Helping with test Automation framework.
  • Telecom Domain Expert with experience in Network Engineering and IT Platforms.
  • Incident triaging expertise with knowledge of TMO system architecture and Database connectivity.
  • Awareness of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.

 

Familiarity with:

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate
  • internally, upward, and cross-functionally; ability to collaborate with multi-functional team
  • members to gain support required to accomplish assignments; able to build coalitions.
  • Experience in the telecommunications domain or Supply Chain will be a huge plus.
  • Familiar with NodeJS, Strapi, MySQL, Kubernetes, Angular JS, ReactJS, Nginx and Docker,TDD/BDD.
  • Awareness of UI, Middleware tools, Cloud computing, GitLab, NoSQL DB’s (Mongo, Redis etc.).
  • Current technological trends and developments in the industry.

 

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and work

experience required.

Minimum Qualification:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
